Hello and welcome to my art store. My name is James W. Thompson, Jr. and I have been creating art in one form or another, my whole life. I hold an MFA in Production Design from AFI (The American Film Institute Conservatory) and a BA (Cum Laude) in Theatrical Design, Biology and in Art. I am a member of Mu Iota of Alpha Psi Omega, the national honorary dramatic fraternity and a Veteran of the US Military. My diverse design background covers television, feature films, special events, parade floats and themed attractions.
I have focused my attention and creativity towards bringing my life's inspirations to canvas; my desire was to share them with others. I felt that my life's inspiration, which led me to create the art, might also inspire those drawn to my art. I am also a lover of photography. I have spent a good portion of my life capturing those moments that have moved me and I am excited to share these images with you.
Those who know me will tell you that I am passionate about two things: creating art and my spiritual journey. Here I attempt to combine the two with hopes of inspiring you. In addition to painting and photography, I am working towards a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology where my ultimate goal is to help others step into the best possible version of themselves.

Lisa Freeman
I have always loved creating art. Even as a small child I would spend hours creating art out of anything I could find. In college I ate up every discipline I could take a class in. I learned printmaking, jewelry casting, mold making and different types of sculpture including my favorite, bronze casting. All of these disciplines influenced the way that I paint now. My paintings contain the elements of collage, metal and high relief texture. The end result is a painting that is a light relief with a reflective quality that shifts with the light of day.
The aging of old billboards, rusting metal and the textures found in nature inspire the colorful and sculptural quality of my works. I am moved by social justice and the ongoing fight for equality for all, African and Afro Latin spirituality and the wild places of our earth. I also create digital artwork and I am currently collaborating on an Afrocentric oracle deck. I have also contributed to large scale art at the Burning Man festival.
Lisa lives nestled in the Santa Suzanna hills in Chatsworth California. She enjoys gardening, hiking, camping and sharing a loving space with her dog Marley.
